The 4th diary book, TRIP. Instead of the usual 6 month period, TRIP covers the full year (1998). We work again with Paul Hester on the Shed shows, which were filmed for TV at Melbourne's Esplanade Hotel. We invade the Blue Elephant each morning and catch up with a wide assortment of friends and colleagues. Neil Finn solo album launches in Sydney and Melbourne and dress up as a Sebel townhouse maid to serve them breakfast in bed on their birthdays (Neil & Sharon).
We sell the Woodface apartment and move into the new Greville street terrace house mid June. Next day I fly out and tour the world with Neil Finn for his "Try Whistling This" shows. Shoot the cover art for Skyhooks "The Collection" cover at our new Greville street home. The year ends with a wild New Years Eve costume party, some say the best party Prahran has ever seen, though it destroyed a few friendships too.
